North Carolina High School Football - West Cabarrus can't hold off Northwest Cabarrus
August 22, 2024: Concord, NC 28027 Northwest Cabarrus Trojans (Concord, NC) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team tip the visiting West Cabarrus Wolverines (Concord, NC), 14-12 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Northwest Cabarrus improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Trojans travel to A.L. Brown (Kannapolis, NC) to play the Wonders in a non-league battle on Thursday, August 29. The Wonders go into the battle with a record of 1-0. A.L. Brown won 18-0 in their recent non-league bout against West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC)
The Wolverines now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Robinson for a non-league bout on Thursday, August 29. West Cabarrus will encounter a Bulldogs team coming off a 41-12 non-league loss to Hickory Ridge (Harrisburg, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-1.
