Georgia High School Volleyball - Westlake can't get by Locust Grove
August 22, 2024: Locust Grove, GA 30248 Locust Grove Wildcats (Locust Grove, GA) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Westlake Lions (Atlanta, GA), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Locust Grove advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Newnan (Newnan, GA) to face the Cougars in a non-league test on Thursday, August 22. The Cougars go into the test with a record of 1-1.
The Lions now sport a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carrollton for a test on Monday, August 26. Westlake will face a Trojans squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Johns Creek (Johns Creek, GA). The Trojans record now stands at 13-1.
