August 22, 2024: Cary, NC 27519 The Wakefield Wolverines (Raleigh, NC) volleyball were victorious over the host Panther Creek Catamounts (Cary, NC), 2-0 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Wolverines now possess a 6-0 record. They play next when they host Leesville Road for a non-league bout on Monday, August 26. Wakefield will clash with a Pride team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill, NC). The Pride record now stands at 1-2.
With the loss, Panther Creek drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Catamounts travel to Garner (Garner, NC) to clash with the Trojans in a non-league bout on Saturday, August 24. The Trojans come into the bout with a record of 2-2. Garner won 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against South Johnston (Four Oaks, NC)
