Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Solon Comets (Solon, OH) and the host South Rebels (Willoughby, OH), saw Solon's soccer squad hold off South by a count of 1-0.

The Comets (3-0) will now prepare for their battle against Nordonia (Macedonia, OH). The Knights enter the Suburban - National battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Nordonia was edged by North (Eastlake, OH), 4-2, in a non-league battle.
