August 22, 2024: Porum, OK 74455 The Walters Blue Devils edged the host Porum Panthers softball squad by a count of 7-6 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Blue Devils play the Preston Pirates (Preston, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 24. Walters will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record. The Pirates enter the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 16-0 non-league win over Rejoice Christian (Owasso, OK).
The Panthers (8-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Prue (Prue, OK). The Rockets enter the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Prue edged Olive (Drumright, OK), 8-1, in a non-league challenge.
