The Alvin Yellowjackets (Alvin, TX) volleyball held off the host Brazosport Exporters (Freeport, TX), 2-1 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Yellowjackets now possess a 4-7 record. They play next when they travel to Fort Bend Hightower for a non-league bout on Thursday, August 22. Alvin will clash with a Hurricanes team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Randle (Richmond, TX). The Hurricanes record now stands at 5-3.
