The Cougars (8-6) will now prepare for their contest against McGregor (McGregor, TX). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, McGregor was knocked off by Crawford (Crawford, TX), 3-0, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Cadets battle the Rogers Eagles (Rogers, TX) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, August 22. Connally will attempt to move on its 5-4 season record. The Eagles enter the contest with a 1-1 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Llano (Llano, TX).
