California High School Volleyball - Rio Mesa overwhelmed by Foothill Tech
August 22, 2024: Ventura, CA 93003 Foothill Tech Dragons (Ventura, CA) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Rio Mesa Spartans (Oxnard, CA), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Foothill Tech advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Dragons travel to Oak Park (Oak Park, CA) to face the Eagles in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 3. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 1-3.
The Spartans now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Granada Hills Charter for a non-league test on Saturday, August 24. Rio Mesa will face a Highlanders squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Canyon (Canyon Country, CA). The Highlanders record now stands at 1-0.
