August 22, 2024: Reno, NV 89431 The Reed Raiders volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Hug Hawks to 0 in the Raiders non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Raiders now possess a 6-3 record. They play next when they travel to McQueen for a 5A Northern outing on Tuesday, August 27. Reed will play a Lancers team coming off a 3-1 league win over Carson (Carson City, NV). The Lancers record now stands at 9-1.
With the loss, Hug drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Hawks host Loyalton (Loyalton, CA) to play the Grizzlies in a non-league outing on Saturday, August 24. The Grizzlies come into the outing with a record of 1-0. Loyalton won 3-1 in their recent non-league outing against Chester (Chester, CA)
