Yuba City Honkers (Yuba City, CA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Armijo Royals (Fairfield, CA), 47-6 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Yuba City improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Honkers travel to Rosemont (Sacramento, CA) to face the Wolverines in a non-league challenge on Friday, August 29. The Wolverines go into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Rosemont won 53-0 in their recent non-league challenge against El Camino (Sacramento, CA)

The Royals (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Bishop O'Dowd (Oakland, CA). The Dragons go into the non-league test with a 0-0 record.
