August 22, 2025: Kenly, NC 27542 North Johnston Panthers (Kenly, NC) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Beddingfield Bruins (Wilson, NC), 40-0 in a non-league battle.
With the win, North Johnston advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Panthers travel to Holmes (Edenton, NC) to play the Aces in a non-league battle on Friday, August 29. The Aces go into the battle with a record of 0-1. Holmes lost 21-14 in their recent non-league battle against Pasquotank County (Elizabeth City, NC)
The Bruins now own a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Dixon for a non-league match on Thursday, August 28. Beddingfield will confront a Bulldogs squad coming off a 42-40 non-league win over Topsail (Hampstead, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-0.
