The Fernley Vaqueros (Fernley, NV) football trounced the visiting Bishop Union Broncos (Bishop, CA), 47-7 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Vaqueros now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Elko for a 3A Northern outing on Friday, August 29. Fernley will clash with a Indians squad coming off a 21-0 non-league win over Douglas (Minden, NV). The Indians record now stands at 1-0.

With the defeat, Bishop Union falls to 0-1 on the year. The Broncos travel to Mission College Prep (San Luis Obispo, CA) to battle the Royals in a non-league contest on Friday, August 29. The Royals enter the contest with a record of 1-0. Mission College Prep won 22-19 in their recent non-league contest against Oxnard (Oxnard, CA)
