Pennsylvania High School Football - Blue Mountain can't hold off Schuylkill Haven

August 22, 2025: Schuylkill Haven, PA 17972

Schuylkill Haven Hurricanes (Schuylkill Haven, PA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the host Blue Mountain Eagles (Schuylkill Haven, PA), 34-27 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Schuylkill Haven improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Hurricanes travel to Panther Valley (Lansford, PA) to play the Panthers in a Colonial-Schuylkill - C challenge on Friday, August 29. The Panthers go into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Panther Valley lost 28-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Salisbury Township (Allentown, PA)

The Eagles (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Southern Lehigh (Center Valley, PA). The Spartans come into the Colonial-Schuylkill - A test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Southern Lehigh tipped Quakertown (Quakertown, PA), 35-14, in a non-league test.
