August 22, 2025: Viborg, SD 57070 Viborg/Hurley Cougars (Viborg, SD) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Canistota Hawks (Canistota, SD), 50-0 in a league battle.
With the win, Viborg/Hurley upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Elkton/Lake Benton (Elkton, SD) to meet the Elks in a non-league match on Friday, August 29. The Elks come into the match with a record of 1-0. Elkton/Lake Benton won 59-8 in their recent non-league match against Waubay/Summit (Waubay, SD)
