Claremont Wolfpack (Claremont, CA) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team nip the visiting Capistrano Valley Christian Eagles (San Juan Capistrano, CA), 17-12 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Claremont advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Wolfpack travel to Diamond Bar (Diamond Bar, CA) to play the Brahmas in a non-league battle on Friday, August 29. The Brahmas come into the match with a record of 0-1. Diamond Bar lost 30-0 in their recent non-league match against El Dorado (Placentia, CA)

Coming up next, the Eagles play the University Trojans (Irvine, CA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, August 30. Capistrano Valley Christian will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record.
