August 22, 2025: Piedmont, AL 36272 In Friday's non-league battle, the host Piedmont Bulldogs football team scored a nice 24-8 win over the Cherokee County Warriors.
With the win, Piedmont improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Bulldogs host Saks (Anniston, AL) to play the Wildcats in a 3A Region 6 battle on Friday, August 29. The Wildcats go into the battle with a record of 1-0. Saks won 48-42 in their recent non-league battle against Horseshoe Bend (New Site, AL)
The Warriors now have a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Arab for a non-league battle on Friday, August 29. Cherokee County will play a Knights team coming off a 18-14 non-league win over Albertville (Albertville, AL). The Knights record now stands at 1-0.
