In Friday's non-league game, the Columbia Raiders (Columbia Station, OH) football team overcame the host Independence Blue Devils (Independence, OH), by a margin of 30-0.

The Raiders now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Fairview for a non-league outing on Friday, August 29. Columbia will clash with a Warriors team coming off a 39-26 non-league win over Clearview (Lorain, OH). The Warriors record now stands at 1-0.
