In Friday's non-league game, the Hillcrest Trojans (Riverside, CA) football team triumphed over the visiting Corona Panthers (Corona, CA), by a margin of 61-15.

The Trojans now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Santiago for a non-league outing on Thursday, August 28. Hillcrest will clash with a Sharks squad coming off a 31-14 non-league win over Yucaipa (Yucaipa, CA). The Sharks record now stands at 1-0.

With the defeat, Corona drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Bloomington (Bloomington, CA) to battle the Bruins in a non-league game on Thursday, August 28. The Bruins enter the game with a record of 0-1. Bloomington lost 32-30 in their recent non-league game against Perris (Perris, CA)
