The Stallions now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to CrossPointe Christian Academy for a non-league outing on Friday, August 29. Holy Ground Baptist Academy will clash with a Cavaliers squad coming off a 45-6 league win over Peoples Baptist Academy (McDonough, GA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 1-0.
With the defeat, Covington Academy drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Victory Baptist (Loganville, GA) to battle the Warrior in a GAPPS A Region 2 (9 Man) contest on Thursday, August 28. The Warrior enter the contest with a record of 1-0. Victory Baptist won 14-6 in their recent non-league contest against Trinity Christian School of Griffin (Griffin, GA)
