In Friday's non-league game, the Tomahawk Hatchets (Tomahawk, WI) football team triumphed over the visiting Crandon Cardinals (Crandon, WI), by a tally of 42-6.

In their next game, the Hatchets battle the Wittenberg-Birnamwood Chargers (Wittenberg, WI) in a non-league game, on Friday, August 29. Tomahawk will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record. The Chargers enter the game with a 1-0 record after their 33-13 non-league win over Bonduel (Bonduel, WI).

The Cardinals (0-1) will now prepare for their outing against Merrill (Merrill, WI). The Bluejays come into the non-league outing with a 0-1 record. In their last outing, Merrill was overwhelmed by Osceola (Osceola, WI), 35-13, in a non-league outing.
