The Forrest Rockets got by the host Creek Wood Red Hawks football team by a score of 43-36 in Friday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Rockets meet the Huntland Hornets (Huntland, TN) in a non-league test, on Friday, August 29. Forrest will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Hornets come into the test with a 1-0 record after their 24-14 non-league win over Whitwell (Whitwell, TN).

With the defeat, Creek Wood moves to 0-1 on the season. The Red hawks travel to Lawson (Nashville, TN) to face the Lightning in a non-league challenge on Friday, August 29. The Lightning go into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Lawson lost 45-7 in their recent non-league test against Brentwood Academy (Brentwood, TN)
