The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Greater Atlanta Christian Spartans (Norcross, GA) and the visiting Decatur Bulldogs (Decatur, GA), saw Greater Atlanta Christian's football team nip Decatur by a final score of 24-20.

With the win, Greater Atlanta Christian advances its record to 1-1 on the season. The Spartans host Westminster (Atlanta, GA) to encounter the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Friday, September 5. The Wildcats enter the contest with a record of 2-0.

Coming up next, the Bulldogs confront the Carver Panthers (Atlanta, GA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, August 29. Decatur will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Panthers enter the contest with a 2-0 record after their 35-0 non-league win over Luella (Luella, GA).
