The Eastern Randolph Wildcats football squad scored 20 points and limited the host Southern Alamance Patriots to 8 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Friday.

The Wildcats now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Randleman for a non-league test on Friday, August 29. Eastern Randolph will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 31-14 non-league win over Providence Grove (Franklinville, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 1-0.

The Patriots (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Patrick Henry (Roanoke, VA). The Patriots go into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Patrick Henry toppled William Byrd (Vinton, VA), 34-17, in a non-league challenge.
