Alabama High School Football - North River Christian crushed by Evangel Christian Academy
August 22, 2025: Tuscaloosa, AL 35406 Evangel Christian Academy Lions (Montgomery, AL) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the host North River Christian Chargers (Tuscaloosa, AL), 56-0 in a league match.
The Lions (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Macon-East Montgomery Academy (Cecil, AL). The Knights come into the AISA 8-Man (8 Man) match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Macon-East Montgomery Academy routed Heritage Christian Academy (Hoover, AL), 62-0, in a non-league match.
Coming up next, the Chargers meet the Escambia Academy Cougars (Atmore, AL) in a AISA 8-Man (8 Man) challenge, on Friday, August 29. North River Christian will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Cougars go into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 40-12 league win over Snook Christian Academy (Foley, AL).
