In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Whites Creek Cobras football squad scored a good 42-33 triumph over the Franklin-Simpson Wildcats.

The Cobras (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Trousdale County (Hartsville, TN). The Yellowjackets come into the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Trousdale County was beaten by Friendship Christian (Lebanon, TN), 34-7, in a non-league match.
