The Gunnison Valley Bulldogs ran past the visiting Providence Hall Patriots football squad by a count of 29-19 in Friday's non-league test.

The Bulldogs now hold a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Grand County for a non-league test on Friday, August 29. Gunnison Valley will meet a Red Devils squad coming off a 68-6 non-league loss to Carbon (Price, UT). The Red Devils record now stands at 0-2.

With the defeat, Providence Hall drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Patriots host Duchesne (Duchesne, UT) to meet the Eagles in a non-league test on Friday, August 29. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 1-1. Duchesne lost 25-21 in their recent non-league challenge against Layton Christian Academy (Layton, UT)
