The Hoke County Bucks football team (Raeford, NC), was crushed 35-0 in Friday's non-league bout with the visiting Monroe Redhawks (Monroe, NC)

With the win, Monroe advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Redhawks host West Charlotte (Charlotte, NC) to encounter the Lions in a non-league bout on Friday, August 29. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 0-1. West Charlotte lost 28-27 in their recent non-league bout against Grimsley (Greensboro, NC)

Coming up next, the Bucks battle the South View Tigers (Hope Mills, NC) in a non-league contest, on Friday, August 29. Hoke County will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Tigers enter the contest with a 0-1 record after their 41-18 non-league loss to Jack Britt (Fayetteville, NC).
