The Leeds Greenwave football squad scored 45 points and limited the visiting Mortimer Jordan Blue Devils to 28 in the Greenwave non-league triumph on Friday.

The Greenwave now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Shades Valley for a non-league test on Friday, August 29. Leeds will meet a Mounties squad coming off a 13-12 non-league win over Woodlawn (Birmingham, AL). The Mounties record now stands at 1-0.

With the defeat, Mortimer Jordan drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Blue devils host Cullman (Cullman, AL) to meet the Bearcats in a non-league test on Friday, August 29. The Bearcats go into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Cullman lost 28-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Bob Jones (Madison, AL)
