The Pickerington Central Tigers (Pickerington, OH) football defeated the visiting Lincoln Lions (Gahanna, OH), 45-14 in Friday's non-league contest.

The Tigers (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Wayne (Huber Heights, OH). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Wayne gained a win over Fairfield (Fairfield, OH), 31-24, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Lions battle the Groveport-Madison Cruisers (Groveport, OH) in a non-league contest, on Friday, August 29. Lincoln will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Cruisers enter the contest with a 0-1 record after their 17-10 non-league loss to Hilliard Bradley (Hilliard, OH).
