The Montgomery Central Indians football team (Cunningham, TN), was nudged 13-6 in Friday's non-league contest with the host Sycamore War Eagles (Pleasant View, TN)

The War Eagles (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Greenbrier (Greenbrier, TN). The Bobcats enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Greenbrier was nudged by White House-Heritage (White House, TN), 35-0, in a non-league contest.

Next up, the Indians encounter the East Hickman County Eagles (Lyles, TN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, August 29. Montgomery Central will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 49-18 non-league loss to Fairview (Fairview, TN).
