The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Muhlenberg Muhls (Laureldale, PA) and the host Schuylkill Valley Panthers (Leesport, PA), saw Muhlenberg's football team prevail over Schuylkill Valley by a final score of 45-14.

With the win, Muhlenberg advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Muhls host Reading (Reading, PA) to encounter the Red KNights in a non-league bout on Friday, August 29. The Red KNights go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Reading lost 28-6 in their recent non-league bout against Phoenixville (Phoenixville, PA)
