Ohio High School Football - Pleasant sneaks past North Union
August 22, 2025: Marion, OH 43302 The Pleasant Spartans football squad scored 16 points and limited the visiting North Union Wildcats to 13 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Friday.
The Spartans now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hopewell-Loudon for a non-league test on Friday, August 29. Pleasant will meet a Chieftains squad coming off a 30-7 non-league win over Carey (Carey, OH). The Chieftains record now stands at 1-0.
The Wildcats (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Liberty Union (Baltimore, OH). The Lions go into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Liberty Union nipped Monroe Central (Woodsfield, OH), 21-20, in a non-league challenge.
