In Friday's non-league match, the host Northwest Guilford Vikings football squad scored a good 28-7 victory over the Western Alamance Warriors.

The Vikings (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Page (Greensboro, NC). The Pirates enter the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Page was beaten by Charlotte Christian (Charlotte, NC), 30-9, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Warriors confront the Southwest Guilford Cowboys (High Point, NC) in a non-league match, on Friday, August 29. Western Alamance will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
