North Carolina High School Football - Berry overwhelmed by Palisades

In Friday's non-league game, the Palisades Pumas (Charlotte, NC) football team triumphed over the visiting Berry Cardinals (Charlotte, NC), by a margin of 35-2.

The Pumas now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Olympic for a non-league outing on Friday, August 29. Palisades will clash with a Trojans squad coming off a 32-14 non-league loss to Butler (Matthews, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 0-1.

With the defeat, Berry drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Ashbrook (Gastonia, NC) to clash with the Greenwave in a non-league outing on Friday, August 29. The Greenwave come into the outing with a record of 1-0. Ashbrook won 35-8 in their recent non-league game against West Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC)
