The Renaissance Academy Knights football squad (Phoenixville, PA), was trounced 46-6 in Friday's non-league contest with the host Thomas A. Edison Owls (Philadelphia, PA)

With the win, Thomas A. Edison advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Owls host Pequea Valley (Kinzers, PA) to encounter the Braves in a non-league bout on Friday, August 29. The Braves enter the contest with a record of 1-0. Pequea Valley won 22-12 in their recent non-league contest against Delaware County Christian (Newtown Square, PA)

Coming up next, the Knights confront the Bucktail Bucks (Farwell, PA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, August 29. Renaissance Academy will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Bucks enter the contest with a 0-1 record after their 54-6 league loss to Cameron County (Emporium, PA).
