The West Johnston Wildcats football team (Benson, NC), dropped 20-0 in Friday's non-league bout with the host South Garner Titans (Garner, NC)

With the victory, South Garner betters its record to 1-0 on the year. The Titans host Southern Lee (Sanford, NC) to confront the Cavaliers in a non-league contest on Friday, August 29. The Cavaliers enter the contest with a record of 0-1. Southern Lee lost 38-17 in their recent non-league contest against Overhills (Spring Lake, NC)

Coming up next, the Wildcats confront the Smithfield-Selma Spartans (Smithfield, NC) in a non-league contest, on Friday, August 29. West Johnston will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record.
