Spectators at Friday's non-league challenge between the West Panthers (Salt Lake City, UT) and the host Timpanogos Timberwolves (Orem, UT), saw West's football team overwhelm Timpanogos by a score of 48-0.

Next, the Panthers meet the American Fork Cavemen (American Fork, UT) in a non-league test, on Friday, August 29. West will attempt to upgrade on its 2-0 season record. The Cavemen come into the test with a 2-0 record after their 48-25 non-league win over Timpview (Provo, UT).

With the defeat, Timpanogos drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Timberwolves travel to Summit Academy (Bluffdale, UT) to meet the Bears in a non-league test on Friday, August 29. The Bears come into the test with a record of 1-1. Summit Academy lost 28-16 in their recent non-league test against North (Torrance, CA)
