In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Western Reserve Roughriders football squad scored a decisive 45-6 triumph over the Wellington Dukes.

The Roughriders (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Margaretta (Castalia, OH). The Polar Bears come into the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Margaretta was routed by Vermilion (Vermilion, OH), 21-20, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Dukes confront the Mapleton Mounties (Ashland, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, August 29. Wellington will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
