Indiana High School Soccer - Southwestern knocks off Austin
August 22, 2025: Hanover, IN 47243 Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the Southwestern Rebels (Hanover, IN) and the visiting Austin Eagles (Austin, IN), saw Southwestern's soccer squad prevail over Austin by a count of 4-0.
The Rebels (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Milan (Milan, IN). The Indians come into the Ohio River Valley match with a 2-1 record. In their last match, Milan nipped Trinity Lutheran (Seymour, IN), 9-0, in a non-league match.
The Eagles now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Trinity Lutheran for a non-league match on Monday, August 25. Austin will meet a Cougars team coming off a 4-2 non-league loss to Rising Sun (Rising Sun, IN). The Cougars record now stands at 0-2.
