The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Hughson Huskies (Hughson, CA) and the host Ceres Bulldogs (Ceres, CA), witnessed Hughson's football squad wallop Ceres by a tally of 41-8.

The Huskies (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Atwater (Atwater, CA). The Falcons enter the non-league bout with a 1-0 record. In their last bout, Atwater smashed Vacaville (Vacaville, CA), 23-10, in a non-league bout.

The Bulldogs now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to McNair for a non-league bout on Friday, September 5.
