California High School Football - Mt. Carmel thwarted by Westview
August 22, 2025: San Diego, CA 92129 Westview Wolverines (San Diego, CA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football squad thwart the visiting Mt. Carmel Sundevils (San Diego, CA), 43-13 in a non-league match.
The Wolverines (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Grossmont (El Cajon, CA). The Foothillers come into the non-league match with a 0-0 record.
Coming up next, the Sundevils meet the Granite Hills Eagles (El Cajon, CA) in a non-league match, on Thursday, August 28. Mt. Carmel will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Eagles come into the match with a 1-0 record after their 34-7 non-league win over Oceanside (Oceanside, CA).
