August 22, 2025: Carlsbad, CA 92009 La Costa Canyon Mavericks (Carlsbad, CA) boosters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Morse Tigers (San Diego, CA), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, La Costa Canyon improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Mavericks travel to Christian (El Cajon, CA) to meet the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Saturday, August 23. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 2-1. Christian lost 2-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Carlsbad (Carlsbad, CA)
Next, the Tigers meet the Mater Dei Catholic Crusaders (Chula Vista, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, August 22. Morse will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record.
