August 22, 2025: New Hope, PA 18938 New Hope-Solebury Lions (New Hope, PA) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Moravian Academy Lions (Bethlehem, PA), 3-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, New Hope-Solebury moves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Lions host Jenkintown (Jenkintown, PA) to meet the Drakes in a non-league test on Tuesday, August 26. The Drakes come into the test with a record of 1-0. Jenkintown won 8-0 in their recent non-league outing against Abington Friends (Jenkintown, PA)
Next up, the Lions confront the Notre Dame-Green Pond Crusaders (Easton, PA) in a Colonial outing, on Wednesday, August 27. Moravian Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Crusaders enter the outing with a 1-0 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Tulpehocken (Bernville, PA).
