August 22, 2025: Purcell, OK 73080 The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Duncan Demons (Duncan, OK) and the host Purcell Dragons (Purcell, OK), observed Duncan's softball team nip Purcell by a score of 6-0.
With the triumph, Duncan improves its record to 5-5 on the year. The Demons travel to Bridge Creek (Blanchard, OK) to face the Bobcats in a non-league contest on Saturday, August 23. The Bobcats enter the contest with a record of 4-6. Bridge Creek lost 8-4 in their recent non-league contest against Washington (Washington, OK)
The Dragons now hold a 2-9 record. They take the field next when they host Newcastle for a non-league bout on Monday, August 25. Purcell will clash with a Racers team coming off a 15-1 non-league win over Anadarko (Anadarko, OK). The Racers record now stands at 4-2.
