With the triumph, Northwest Whitfield betters its record to 2-5 on the season. The Bruins host Ridgeland (Rossville, GA) to confront the Panthers in a 3A Region 7 match on Monday, August 25. The Panthers come into the match with a record of 3-3. Ridgeland lost 10-2 in their recent league game against Heritage (Ringgold, GA)
The Hurricanes now own a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to Oconee County for a non-league game on Saturday, August 23. Jasper County will play a Warriors squad coming off a 15-2 league loss to Cherokee Bluff (Flowery Branch, GA). The Warriors record now stands at 0-4.
