Alexander Bulldogs (Laredo, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Alamo Heights Mules (San Antonio, TX), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs (7-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Clemens (Schertz, TX). The Buffaloes come into the non-league challenge with a 4-7 record. In their last challenge, Clemens beat Navarro (Geronimo, TX), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

The Mules now sport a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Marshall for a non-league test on Friday, August 22. Alamo Heights will face a Rams squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Taft (San Antonio, TX). The Rams record now stands at 3-7.
