August 22, 2025: Houston, TX 77053 Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Fort Bend Willowridge Eagles (Houston, TX) and the visiting Alief Hastings Bears (Houston, TX), observed Fort Bend Willowridge's volleyball team top Alief Hastings by a tally of 3-1.
The Eagles (4-5) will now prepare for their test against Fort Bend Marshall (Missouri City, TX). The Buffalos go into the non-league test with a 3-0 record. In their last test, Fort Bend Marshall achieved victory over Almeta Crawford (Rosharon, TX), 3-2, in a non-league test.
The Bears now own a 1-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Westfield for a non-league test on Saturday, August 23. Alief Hastings will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Fort Bend Bush (Richmond, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-2.
