In Friday's non-league challenge, the host Birdville Hawks volleyball team scored a 2-0 win over the Weatherford Kangaroos.

With the win, Birdville improves its record to 11-4 on the season. The Hawks travel to Mansfield (Mansfield, TX) to face the Tigers in a non-league test on Saturday, August 23.
