August 22, 2025: Texarkana, TX 75503 Pleasant Grove Hawks (Texarkana, TX) boosters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting De Kalb Bears (De Kalb, TX), 3-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Pleasant Grove improves its record to 6-4 on the season. The Hawks travel to Garrison (Garrison, TX) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Friday, August 29. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 8-9.
The Bears now own a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ashdown for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 26.
