The Falls Lake Firebirds volleyball squad (Creedmoor, NC), was defeated 2-0 in Friday's non-league battle with the host New Life Camp Storm (Raleigh, NC)

With the win, New Life Camp improves its record to 10-1 on the season. The Storm travel to Panther Creek (Cary, NC) to encounter the Catamounts in a non-league battle on Saturday, August 23. The Catamounts enter the challenge with a record of 0-1. Panther Creek lost 3-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Leesville Road (Raleigh, NC)

Next, the Firebirds meet the GRACE Christian Eagles (Raleigh, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 23. Falls Lake will attempt to upgrade on its 5-1 season record. The Eagles go into the test with a 4-5 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Ravenscroft (Raleigh, NC).
